Ravven Dragonstarr was born on the Zabrak home world of Iridonia. When he was very young he was traveling with his parents in space and they were attacked by Black Sun Pirates. His parents saw them coming and ejected their son in an escape pod. The pirates disabled and boarded his parent’s ship and killed both of them. A human Junk Dealer named Seth Dragonstarr was traveling the sector looking for space junk. When he saw the escape pod he brought it onboard his ship to salvage it. When he looked inside he was surprised to find the young Zabrak. Seth looked around the sector for his parent’s ship and eventually found their disabled looted ship as well as their bodies. Seth decided to raise the young Zabrak himself and gave him the name of Ravven because he could not pronounce his real name. He also gave Ravven his last name of Dragonstarr and raised him as his son.
Seth took Ravven to his small home outside of Mos Eisley, on the planet of Tatooine, where he raised him as his own. He loved his Zabrak son and taught him every thing he knew about piloting and trading. Ravven took to piloting like a Kaadu to water. He would often fly his father’s small freighter through the asteroid belt near Tatooine (which made his father very nervous and angry). Ravven also enjoyed racing his heavily modified swoop bike on the Mos Espa Race track.
One day when Ravven was a young man he came home after he made a delivery to one of his fathers customers. He found their small house ransacked and his father near death. His father told him that Imperial stormtroopers had come to the house looking for an R2 droid. He told them he did not have an R2 droid but the Jawas often had them for sale. After they tore the house apart looking for the droid they shot him and left him for dead. Ravven’s father, after telling him he loved him, died in his arms.
From that day on Ravven swore to get revenge on the Empire as well as the Black Sun. He runs a small smuggling business to make a living and keeps a low profile when it comes to the Empire so he can work behind the scenes with the Rebellion to bring them down.
